Bamboo Fly Rods: "It's Personal"
Ben Pierce writes an excellent piece on bamboo fly rods, the people who make them and the people who use them, quoting various builders and aficionados on bamboo’s spirit. “[T]wo rods built to the same exacting specification could fish markedly different on the stream. They provide feedback to the angler and a personal connection that cannot be duplicated.” In the Bozeman Daily Chronicle.
