Happy Holidays from MidCurrent

December 25, 2010 By: Marshall Cutchin

Standing on the edge of a shallow and cold river yesterday, watching hawks fluff against the wind, I marveled that the frozen ruts below could hold any life at all. But the wind shifted and briefly smelled just like spring and I was transported: to the gang of boys casting homemade flies to carp, to a raft of tricos making the perfect mid-morning, and to logs of tarpon hovering just below the surface, buoyed by new warmth.
The days get longer now.
Here’s wishing you a Happy Everything. The staff of MidCurrent hopes you find peace, joy and inspiration in the coming year.
