Gear: Korkers Aims for Larger Share of Wading Boot Market

Allan Brettman writes about how former Columbia exec Sean Beers has helped transform Korkers from a “sandal maker” into a manufacturer of high-tech wading boots that are topping many “Best Of” lists this year.
“This year, Korkers expects about $2.4 million in sales. About 80 percent from fishing boots, about 16 percent from products with industrial applications, and the remainder from outdoor boots.” In The Oregonian.
