Three of Four States Approve "Right to Hunt and Fish" Amendments

As we noted last month, voters in Arizona, Arkansas, South Carolina and Tennessee all had a chance to approve constitutional amendments that guarantee the right to hunt and fish in their states. Turns out that in three states — Tennessee, South Carolina and Arkansas — the vote was overwhelmingly in favor of the amendments. Arizona voters, however, voted down the proposal to make “hunting, fishing and harvesting wildlife a constitutional right.”
