Wyoming Supreme Court to Hear North Platte Access Case

May 9, 2010 By: Marshall Cutchin

Wyoming landowners are seeking closure of the only convenient takeout point for drift boats between the North Platte’s Gray Reef and Government Bridge, near Casper.
“‘I can tell you the general fishing population relies on it, but more specifically, the businesses in town — the fly shops,’ [Marvin] Nolte said of the Lusby access. ‘That’s a reasonable day’s float trip — between Gray Reef and Lusby. Going all the way down to Government Bridge means you can’t fish, you just have to row.'” Ben Neary in the Casper Tribune.
