Coho Brought Back to Washington Creek After 100 Years
After more than one hundred years and $600,000, coho salmon have found a home again in Taneum Creek, part of Washington state’s Yakima River Basin. Removal of a dam and installation of water pipeline made it all possible. Dave Lester writes about it in the Yakima Herald-Republic.
