A seventy-five percent drop in sales activity has buyers and sellers engaged in a Mexican standoff in the real estate market around Bozeman, Montana, according to an article by Jessica Mayrer in the Daily Chronicle. “In the Bozeman area, the average listing price for a lot was $516,000 in 2008. But the average sale price was $260,000. And, of the 600 listed lots that size in the area, only 64 sold last year.”
