The remote Kamchatka Peninsula of far-eastern Russia is a sparsely populated wooded peninsula, roughly the size of California and laced with more than 1,200 rivers and spring creeks teaming with wild rainbow trout, char and six species of Pacific Salmon. The Kamchatka Peninsula is widely regarded as the last frontier of Northern Hemisphere wilderness trout fishing and represents the cutting edge of international fly fishing travel.
The short summer fishing season of Kamchatka starts early July and runs through mid September with trips lasting one week, although many anglers opt for a two week stay. For more information, contact The Fly Shop at 800.669.3474 / 530.222.3555 or email@example.com.
