It’s always intriguing to read an “outsider’s” take on the sport, especially when it offers a unexpected observation. Hannah Wiest goes fishing in Wyoming’s Platte valley and discovers that fly fishing is mostly — it seems — about numbers. “Lesson five: Movies don’t know squat about fly fishing.
