At almost any age, fly fishers tend to think of themselves as indestructible. And we are, mostly. At least until multiple events conspire to make us feel like idiots. One of those events that causes anglers to go down the path of no return most often is falling into cold water, and this excellent piece on cold water survivability in Yachting World gives anecdotal and scientific info that will make you shiver.
