Klamath River Salmon: Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil

You can almost hear the plaintive cries of lobbyists in this decision to limit salmon-speak to 3 top administration officials — non-scientists — described by Washington Post writer Blaine Harden. After a federal judge ruled that the Klamath river must not be drawn down to a level that endangers salmon, NOAA officials followed up with a recommendation that dams either be removed or modified. Apparently that suggestion sounded out of control to those who manage the scientists.
