How to Tie a Saltwater Popper: Part I

Tim Flagler begins with Wapsi “Perfect Popper” bodies, which have a channel already cut to accommodate the hook. (Wapsi and Mustad also have popper hooks which work will with these pre-cut bodies.) This first portion of the instructions shows how to insert the hook correctly and permanently and prep a fully finished body for painting.
