How to Tie a Cream Cahill Sparkle Dun

Producer: Tim Flagler  |  Tightline Productions

Matt Grobert ties a Cream Cahill Sparkle Dun on a size 14 TMC #100 dry fly hook.

Cream Cahills are quite visible even in low light, float well, and do a reasonable job of imitating both duns and spinners.   These are a late-season variety of Cahills.  They hatch in the last hour or so of daylight, and the spinners will begin to fall right at dark.
