2018 FFI Fly Fishing Fair Heading to Boise, Idaho

The Boise Center in Boise, Idaho has been named the site for the 2018 FFI Fly Fishing Fair and Fishfest. The event will be held August 7-11 and will feature a consumer trade show, workshops, demonstrations and seminars.

2018 FFI Fly Fishing Fair Heading to Boise, Idaho

BOISE, Idaho – Fly Fishers International has named The Boise Center in Boise, Idaho as site of the 2018 FFI Fair & Fishfest, Aug. 7-11.

A consumer trade show Aug. 9-11 featuring fly-fishing tackle manufacturers including Orvis, Patagonia, RIO Products, Sage, Scientific Anglers and Simms will be held in conjunction with the annual FFI Fair, announced Len Zickler, president and CEO of the worldwide conservation/education organization.

The event will feature 100-plus workshops covering all aspects of fly fishing – from fly-tying to beginner and specialized casting techniques and on-the-water fishing, certified casting instructor testing, women’s workshops, youth workshops and destination/species – conducted by FFI and guest instructors.

Demonstrations, seminars and hands-on sessions are scheduled by Gary Borger, Dave and Emily Whitlock, Molly Semenik, Mary Ann Dozer, Heather Hodson, Craig Mathews and Brian O’Keefe.
