Lenexa, Kan. (June 22, 2015) – ARC Fishing (Angling Research Company, LLC), today announced it will expand its growing family of high performance fresh and saltwater fly lines in 2016 to include a full-featured dry fly presentation line and a specialized saltwater fly line designed for early season, coldwater conditions.

The new ARC Dry Fly line will feature an extended front taper for super accurate, life-like dry fly presentation as well as the latest advancements in fly line design and materials, making it the go-to choice for dry fly anglers stalking wary trout.

“Our Dry Fly line is built around a 6% low-stretch Response Core for extraordinary feel and solid hook set,” says Dayne Glass, ARC Fishing co-founder. “The ARC Dry Fly also features our ZNG Technology — transition zones, a permanent Nano molecule coating and grooved line profile — for longer casts, higher line float and easier mending.”

The new ARC Dry Fly will be available in early 2016 in three sizes: WF-F, 3-5wt.

The new ARC 99 Salt Coldwater is multi-species fly line specially designed for saltwater anglers fishing in a variety of early-season, coldwater environments. The all-around ARC 99 Salt Coldwater line features a specially formulated cover that maintains its suppleness, castability and other performance characteristics in a wide range of coldwater conditions.

“Beyond a coldwater friendly cover and a short custom taper, we incorporated a number of proven performance technologies from our freshwater lines into the new ARC 99 Salt Coldwater,” explains Travis Thompson, ARC Fishing co-founder.  “This specialty line floats like a cork thanks to a permanent, high-tech Nano coating, while our 6% low-stretch core produces excellent feel and signature grooved line profile reduces line friction for longer, more accurate casts.”

The ARC 99 Salt Coldwater will be available in early 2016 in four sizes: WF-F, 7-10wt.

ARC Fishing will showcase its expanded 2016 product lineup, including the new ARC Dry Fly and ARC 99 Salt Coldwater fly lines, at the upcoming IFTD/ICAST show (Booth #635) in Orlando from July 15-17, 2015.
