  • Nitrogen from agriculture is ending up in the snowpack of Rocky Mountain National Park. During runoff, this excess can end up in the park’s streams and lakes, impacting water quality for trout. Through a voluntary program that monitors wind direction and issues warnings, farmers are helping to lessen the harmful emissions. Read more via Colorado Public Radio.
