Simms and Jeff Currier Join Forces

BOZEMAN, Mont. (November 20, 2014) – Jeff Currier has traveled the globe searching for fish and is regarded as one of the world’s most accomplished anglers. Now Simms Fishing Products has jumped in to help in his quest.

Simms is supporting Currier and his circuit of over 30 annual speaking engagements across the US where he recounts his global angling adventures to eager audiences. Currier will also utilize the Bozeman-based company’s wide array of apparel on his fishing adventures and provide valued product feedback.

Currier’s experience in the fly fishing industry started with a 20+ year tenure at Jack Dennis Sports in Jackson, Wyoming — a shop he helped drive to international recognition. Currier also worked as a fishing guide in Wyoming and Yellowstone National Park for a decade before settling on his quest to pursue the world’s most elusive fish. To date, Currier has caught over 300 different species on fly.

Currier’s fishing career has meshed well with his artistic passions. His artwork has earned international acclaim and has been featured in Simms Artist Series t-shirts. He also has authored numerous books including, Currier’s Quick and Easy Guide to Warmwater Fly Fishing and Currier’s Quick and Easy Guide to Saltwater Fly Fishing.
