Richard Wheatley Partners Ltd. Formed to Acquire remaining RWL Assets

REC Components and Richard Wheatley Partners Ltd. are pleased to announce the successful acquisition of all Richard Wheatley, Ltd. assets to include the intellectual property and all trademarks associated with this iconic 153 year old brand. Richard Wheatley Partners was formed and is owned equally by Alan Gnann, President of REC and Clive Edwards of Ilminster, England. Gnann and Edwards were formerly partial shareholders of RWL of Malvern, England which was recently liquidated.
As announced earlier, all Richard Wheatley aluminum fly boxes will continue to be manufactured at REC’s manufacturing facility in Stafford Springs, Connecticut. Wheatley rod carriers and wooden fly boxes will continue to be made in the U.K.
Effective immediately, REC will handle sales for the entire RWL product range in North and South America and Asia from its manufacturing facility and offices in the USA. Clive Edwards has established a warehouse and sales office in Ilminster and will handle sales throughout Europe and Africa from this location.
