From Conventional to Fly After 35 Years
Skeptical after a barrage of great things going on in his life, Field & Stream writer Bill Heavey decided it was time for a dose of disappointment to bring him back down to earth. So he picked up a fly rod. After 35 years of casual fly fishing, Heavey is proud to say that he has elevated from beginner to advanced beginner. But thanks to a few Lefty Kreh casting tips, he is convinced that an upcoming trip to Wyoming is going to be the trip – the turning point where he might ascend into intermediate status.
