  • A New York doctor that had gone missing on Labor Day while on a fly fishing trip to a nature reserve on Long Island was found alive. 
  • HeraldNet has a slideshow of ‘”colorful” tarpon flies as a teaser for an upcoming story on local anglers’ trip to Mexico.  (A lot of these flies are rather “old-style,” but you can see some newer patterns in the second part of the show.)
