There are two sides to every coin, private fishing clubs not excepted. And whether they provide additional access or compete with state resources is all in how you look at it.

But when Christopher Solomon sets out to fish river leases of the Rocky Mountain Angling Club, he finds that there are still places in Colorado where you can cast away from the crowds, and at the same time discovers why he goes fishing in the first place: down at the heart of it “it’s a license to be 8 years old again.”  In The New York Times.
