  • If you’re an urban angler, you’ve surely seen line, lures, and flies hanging from powerlines. But aside from losing a rig, they can also mean serious trouble for an angler’s safety.
  • After recent rains, ash from the High Park Fire near Fort Collins has washed into the Poudre River. Fish health and is of concern, and the river could be turning black with effects from the fire well into the years to come.
  • Mermaids have long been a fisherman’s fancy, yet following the Discovery Channel TV special “Mermaids: The Body Found,” The United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has decidedly stated “No evidence of aquatic humanoids has ever been found.”
