Deeter was clearly onto something when he predicted 2012 to be the “Year of the Carp.”  Whether anglers are just now realizing how fun the once thought “trash fish” can be or the pursuit has become more visible is hard to say; but anglers are quickly seeing the fun in the spooky fish that are close to almost every locale.  In this video Bent Rod Media and Southern Culture on the Fly team up for some Carolina bonefish.
