Labash: The Anti-Tying Contingent

Youngsters these days: first they fish lures and call them streamers, and now they distance themselves from the ancient art of fly tying.

“The former (fly fishermen) always feeling guilty and inadequate if they don’t become the latter (fly tiers/bug experts),” writes Matt Labash.  Essentially, all anglers should follow their fancy.  “So if you want to spend your days twiddling with feather and fur, head cement and whip finishers, may the Good Lord bless and keep you.”
