Video Hatch: “Surf & Inshore Fly Fishing 2011”

Peter Laurelli has put together quite a repertoire of videos of surf and inshore fly fishing in northeastern U.S., but this one tops them all.  Laurelli’s goal is the same each year:  “Drag camera gear around from March to December in search of striped bass, bluefish and false albacore, point it at the water and see what comes out.”

Peter, that gets me ramped for this season !!! Awesome. I can only imagine the amount of hard work that went into that. It’s exhausting thinking about it. It also reminds me very much of the quality fly fishing series, Walker’s Cay Chronicles, only better, because it’s about the fishing experience in MY backyard. You’ve got some real talent. Forget the small screen in NYC, find a company that has cable access. One that is accessible to the majority. ESPN used to have some decent shows, no more.We in the northeast have never had a regular, quality show about fishing our waters. Hard to understand since we have some of the greatest fishing in the world. Thanks so much.
