Celebrity Waders: Joan Rivers

The UK’s Daily Mail uncovered yet another scandalous event in the life of an international celebrity today when it published photos of Joan Rivers recovering from a slip while fly fishing.  Unfortunately the photos don’t reveal whether she was wearing felt or rubber soles.

    I was with Joan during the above-stated fishing adventure (just off camera).  I run the outfit that she used during her stay in Wyoming and am the employer of her guide. See http://www.RockCreekAnglers.com.  Her fall was premeditated and safe.  She was not injured nor in any need of recovery (other than drying off).  There were several takes on several falls.  She was wearing felt.  We refuse to rent rubber soled wading boots – particular to our elderly customers.  Plus, none of our rental boots are ever going anywhere near any “affected” waterways.
