Maryland Renames Portion of Gunpowder “Lefty Kreh Fishing Trail”

In honor of his life-long dedication to fly fishing and to helping others learn the sport, Maryland has given the name “Lefty Kreh Fishing Trail” to a section of the Gunpowder River, one of the state’s most popular streams.  “In a press release Governor Martin O’Malley said ‘Lefty Kreh is a Maryland icon who has for decades inspired anglers across the state and around the world. We are honored to bestow this recognition as a reflection of his dedication to, and impact on, fishing and conservation.'”  In The Capital.
