Video Hatch: “A Tangled Tale”

Corrie Parks, who holds a degree in animation from Dartmouth College, is in the process of releasing “A Tangled Tale,” a sand animation short film that takes form at the confluence of fly-fishing and art.

Parks describes her journey as an angler:  My dad is an avid fisherman. I’ve been watching him for years and since I’ve had the Frying Pan river out my back door for the past year, I decided it was high time I gave it a try myself. With a bit of help from the boys at Taylor Creek Fly Shop, I’ve landed a few of the crafty Frying Pan residents this summer and am happy to say I now look forward to a lifetime of fishing.

Thanks for posting this, Marshall. Very beautiful work, and anything that reflects favorably on fly fishing is worth the time to support!
