Steelhead Fishing: “A Lifestyle That Becomes a Part of You”
In his newly released book, Meet Me at the Net: Stories from Steelhead Alley, Ed Novak attempts to “language what Steelhead Alley feels like to the average steelheader,” says Kathleen Folkerth on Akron.com. For Novak, a psychotherapist, steelhead fishing is an escape from the trauma he deals with on a daily basis. The book also touches on the relationships Novak has developed through steelhead fishing within the tight-knit steelhead alley community. This is Novak’s first full-length book, despite being published in professional journals.
