Pastor Matthew LaGrange of Texas and his fishing partner Dan Scates of Colorado thought fishing near bull elk in rutting season was pretty cool until a big bull entered the river about 30 feet away. The Denver Post‘s Joe Amon was on hand to shoot the sequence of events, as a the “bull walked into the river and began nuzzling a cow just 10 feet from LaGrange.”
“‘I’m a pastor so I can’t say what I was thinking but, It started with Holy,’ he said after leaving the water.’”
