AJ Scaff, Russell Chatham’s “handyman and frame builder,” sat down with the artist and fly fisher to record him talking about his life, his art, and his passion for fly-fishing. Scaff has published the first two segments — Part One and Part Two — and promises to publish more.

“My job is Russell Chatham, and my job is to paint pictures….  In growing up, there was a general attitude that art and artists mattered.  My grandfather was truly a great painter, and so that’s what I saw growing up.”
