Profile: Fly Fishing Photographer Mark Lance

Dave Buchanan interviews photographer Mark Lance for the Grand Junction Sentineland describes how the full-time geologist connects the dots between the landscape and trout conservation. “‘Personally, I’m attracted to the landscape because I’m still a geologist in my work-a-day life,’ Lance said. ‘And as a photographer I’m drawn to landscapes’ beauty in an artistic sense. I had a great interest in photography for many years, and when my wife and I married, fly fishing became the catalyst for us to travel and do thing together.”
