Noah Thompson Takes Third at Youth World Fly Fishing Championship

The youngest angler ever to win a medal at the Youth World Fly Fishing Championship, 15-year-old Noah Thompson placed third at the recent competition in Slovakia. “‘You stick with your confidence (fly) patterns and the techniques you’re comfortable with and you’ll always catch fish,’ Thompson says. ‘When I go, I’m using flies I know will catch fish, and I just stick with those.'” Mike Leggett in the Austin, Texas Statesman.
