Champion Fly Fisher Mistaken for Drug Dealer

Peter Scott was bound for the fly fishing World Championships in Poland Thursday when police pulled him aside after mistaking him for a drug dealer. Once police realized their mistake, he had missed his flight.
“The 58-year-old Auckland father, a one-time national fly-fishing champ who has travelled the world competing and wrote New Zealand’s Best Trout Flies, shares his name and birthdate with someone now before the courts on drug charges.” Rachel Tiffen in the New Zealand Herald.
