Rosenbauer Podcast: Ten Great Wading Tips
Tom’s timely podcast addresses wading safety and focuses specifically on wader belts, wading staffs, flotation devices, and wading techniques.
“Number one: Wear a wader belt, and if you’re unsteady on your feet, take a wading staff. Wader belts are extremely important, and a lot of us forget them. We just don’t feel like putting them on, or we’ve them, or whatever. But they’re really important, both from a safety and a comfort standpoint. If you’ve got a wader belt cinched tightly around your waist, when you fall in the water, unless you get fully submerged you’re not going to get water down inside your waders.”
