Obama Salmon Plan Leaves Conservationists Unsatisfied
While the plan that fisheries managers submitted Tuesday for a federal judge’s approval devotes hundreds of millions of dollars to habitat restoration, the fate of four key dams in the Columbia River system is left in doubt, and conservationists are complaining that the new regulations are simply a plan for more planning.
